This year we made it our mission to celebrate “National Hat Day” with a difference. Although what we do is amazing and fashion is 66 million pound industry in the UK alone, it is not life and death and it is really important to remember that. As a milliner we support the beauty on the outside of the head but more importantly the amazing charity, Mind supports the beauty within. Which is why we joined forces to raise a fantastic £1,802. And rising.
We choose Mind, as mental health charities are often forgotten, January is a challenging time for so many people and we thought it would be lovely to start the year off with a kind yet fun campaign. On Sunday 15th January, we asked our lovely customers to #mindsmatter Post an image of themselves in a hat on social media, nominate two friends to do the same and then donate to Mind via our just giving page.
