Haute Dogs Calendar: When Couture Meets Compassion

Twelve couture hats. Twelve rescue dogs. One calendar raising money for Underdog International.

Each month featured a different British milliner, each paired with a rescue dog, all in support of Underdog International. When I was invited to take part in this extraordinary project, I wanted to capture the joy and bloom of early summer, that soft, hopeful energy when everything begins to unfurl again. My hat design became a celebration of that moment: playful, romantic, and full of light.

It’s been such a privilege to be part of something that blends creativity and compassion so beautifully. The Haute Dogs Calendar proved that fashion can be a force for good, that artistry, empathy, and community can come together to make a tangible difference.

To everyone who bought a calendar, shared the campaign, or supported in any way, thank you. You’ve helped change lives and shown that kindness, like couture, never goes out of style.

Together, this campaign raised £11,641 in just one month — funds that will help rescue and rehome suffering dogs, and support programmes where children and dogs can heal, learn, and thrive together.
