Breaking the Silence: Stories of Strength – An Evening Supporting My Sisters’ House

I’m honoured to share details of a very special event taking place next month in support of My Sisters’ House – a charity that means a great deal to me personally.

Their work with women across West Sussex, particularly those facing domestic abuse or difficult life circumstances, is truly life-changing. The compassion, strength and practical help they offer ripples far beyond the women they support; it touches families, friendships and entire communities.

On Thursday, 4 December, My Sisters’ House will be hosting Breaking the Silence: Stories of Strength at Arundel Town Hall. It promises to be an evening of honesty, courage and connection – a chance to hear real stories from women whose resilience and determination lie at the heart of the charity’s mission.

An Evening to Come Together

The evening begins at 6.45 pm with canapés and a welcome drink before we gather for a 7.30 pm start. We’ll hear from women who have bravely chosen to share their experiences – stories that are powerful, moving, and a reminder of why services like My Sisters’ House are so essential.

My hope is that the evening not only raises much-needed funds but also brings greater awareness to the realities so many women face, often quietly and without support. Coming together in this way feels important, and I’m grateful to be part of it.
